A Big Giveaway, a Big Journey: Delivering Kirsty’s Win to Dunedin!

Back in January, we ran a giveaway to celebrate the launch of our new website and to give back to the pet lovers in our pet community that make PSNZ what it is. Pet sitters and pet owners work hard every day to provide the best care for their animals, so this was our way of showing appreciation and supporting someone with a little extra!

Our lucky winner? Kirsty from Dunedin! And wow, did she get a haul:

That’s A LOT of pet supplies!

I was stoked to be able to drop off the prize to Kirsty in person, down in Dunedin. I tied it in with the South Island road trip and we scheduled a day and time to meet and hand everything over—she was absolutely stoked, though slightly (and understandably) overwhelmed by the sheer volume of goodies she’d won!

We had a bit of a laugh as we lugged the big bags into her car, treating it as our morning workout before I let her get on with her day.

‍

This trip involved multiple stops, and after meeting Kirsty, we continued on with our usual pet care antics—chatting with vets, checking out pet-friendly cafés, and making the most of the chance to connect with fellow animal lovers and professionals along the way.

How Did the Prize Go?

We checked in with Kirsty to see how the prize was working out for her, and here’s what she had to say:

“The poo bags are good quality and working well, very good indeed! And the food is a hit too. Both cats and the dog are loving these biscuits. So it’s very popular all round here!”
